Today, I realised just how annoying it can be for people to constantly ask me to say certain words repeatedly just so they can get off on my accent. No I am not British nor do I have any british background, but my speech therapist when I was a tyke was and I gained this wretched accent that I can not seem to shake at all. It can become quite frustrating, I feel for you. MLINB

Today, I thought I am American and live in the US and if I went to Britain then I would feel like I am surrounded by people with accents when really, I would be the one with the accent! MLINB
